So I had my 16 week doctors apptoinment yesterday and everything looks great. Ryan and I scheduled our next ultrasound for Feb 13th to find out what sex the baby is! It is going to be a wonderful Valentines day gift. I think I felt the baby move today but I am not sure what it is supposed to feel like. I kind of felt like a little flutter in my lower left ab under my belly button and it was never really anything I have ever felt before. I immediately turned the TV off (not sure why it isn't like I can hear it moving) and waited to see if I could feel it again. I yelled to Ryan and Greyson and they came running downstaris. I told them that I think I felt the baby move and it felt like a bee buzzing, Greyson looked at me and said "um Darcy there are no bees in there just a baby" (he gave me the DUH! face). That was about an hour ago and I have not really felt it again but I am going to be more aware of that feeling to se if I have it again.
I have started my 3rd and 4th class of my online masters. You are only supposed to take one at a time but since the baby is coming in July and I want to be higher on the pay scale next year I am taking double the courses to get done sooner. It has been a lot more work then I thought. I am spending my entire prep period at school trying to keep the two classes in order and not confusing them. I will be so happy once it is all over but it is a little stressful right now.
This was our week with Greyson and it was wonderful, we are so blessed to be on a week on week off schedule with him. He is so excited about the baby, he carries a picture of my niece baby Maggie in his backpack and tells everyone that he is going to have a baby like this one very soon. Well I hope everyone is doing well and having a wonderful week....YIPPEE for FRIDAY!

So we started our first week of school with a 2 hour delay last Monday for snow...and 2 days later it was all gone! That's when all of the flooding occurred on the west side and I am grateful that all our family and friends made it through that scary time safely. The last few weeks our house has had a couple expensive hiccups and we are on our way to fixing them. The water line from our house to the road burst so we had to pay a pretty penny to fix that. Then our vent to our dryer wasn't working so by the man power of my Dad and Ryan they did some home repair themselves and our dryer is now back to only needing one cycle to dry our clothes!!!!!!!!(it is the little things in life that can make you so happy)We had a busy weekend with basketball games and activities at Davis. We fit in an ultrasound with my cousin Judye on Saturday night, she is a doctor here in Yakima and she let us come in and watch the baby move and wiggle for about an hour. The last time we saw that baby it was only 5 weeks and looked like a circle. Now it looks like a baby!! Arms and legs moving around like crazy. I was so happy to see that the baby is growing fast and looking great. Well I have a doctors appointment on the 21st so that will be the next big thing in baby's life. I hope everyone is doing well and staying dry....xoxo
Here is a side belly shot at 15 weeks :)-and yes that is what I wore to school today...I LOVE being a PE teacher!

These are pictures of the newest member of our family Sammie our kitten. It was one of Greyson's Christmas presents and boy does he love her! He almost cried the other day when we had to go to school and leave Sammie at home. She has had a little rough start to her life but with some love and care we are hoping she we will get through her first kitten cold and back to normal.

Back To Work
So it is Sunday night...the last night of Christmas Break so our family is headed back to school tomorrow. We had a very busy 2 weeks with trips to Milton, Longview, Olympia and Roslyn. We had a great time visiting family for the holidays and got to spend 4 days at the cabin for new years. My parents bought a little snowmobile and Greyson had a blast riding something his size. We got to spend a lot of time with my new niece Maggie, she is 6 weeks old and is such a cutie! I am so excited to experience everything that Jereme and Tamara are with our little one in July. Baby is 14 weeks old this week and is the size of a lemon (That is what the books say) No belly yet but I promise to post picks when something starts sprouting out. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and I wish you all the best this 2009 year...hugs and kisses!! mama McDaniel :)
